Infiniti Previews Next QX80 with Bold Monograph Concept SUV

Infiniti is ready to make a statement in the full-size luxury SUV segment. The brand has unveiled the QX80 Monograph concept, a design study that heavily previews the styling of the next-generation QX80. The concept showcases a new "Artistry in Motion" design language, moving towards a more minimalist yet imposing aesthetic.
Key Design Features
The Monograph concept is a clear indication that Infiniti is shedding the curvaceous look of the current QX80 for a more modern, chiseled appearance.
- New Front Fascia: A large, illuminated double-arched grille features prominently, flanked by multi-element LED daytime running lights designed to evoke a "digital piano key" effect.
- Sleek Profile: Flush door handles and a clean, uncluttered body side give the large SUV a surprisingly sleek profile.
- Full-Width Taillight: A dramatic, smoked-finish taillight spans the entire width of the vehicle, adding to its sophisticated look. A unique "light path" welcome sequence is also part of the design.
What It Means for Production
While this is officially a concept, it's expected that the production version of the 2025 QX80 will look very similar. The new model is expected to ditch the long-running V-8 engine in favor of a more powerful and efficient twin-turbocharged V-6. The production model is set to be fully revealed at the New York auto show next month.
